We're Moving!
IMA re-opens July 2013 at 805 Allston Way, Berkeley.

Founded in 2005, Institute of Mosaic Art is a world-class mosaic education and resource center offering students expert instruction in the mosaic arts in a fun and welcoming environment. We are the largest mosaic education center in the United States, offering the widest range of programming in the mosaic arts.

IMA is a premier destination for mosaic students, visitors and instructors from around the world.

CLASSES
Over 80 unique classes and workshops featuring world-class instruction in contemporary and traditional mosaic techniques for all levels — from beginner to professional.

VISITING ARTISTS
IMA hosts nationally and internationally known mosaic artists and arts professionals to teach special classes and workshops. More visiting artists here.

IMA presents rotating mosaic exhibitions of professional and student work and features mosaic installations in our building and the surrounding neighborhood.
